Generations of Care

At Greenbriar Nursing Center, caring for others is more than a profession — it’s our family’s legacy.

Our story began with Conner Cain, a pioneer in long-term care who dreamed of creating a place where seniors could live with dignity and compassion.

After his passing, that vision was carried forward by his wife, Avonna Cain, who has served as a licensed nursing home administrator for more than 43 years. Under her leadership as CEO of Generations Health Care, Greenbriar became a trusted home for families across the community, rooted in respect, compassion, and excellence.

Today, their daughter, Jennifer Cain, also a licensed administrator and President of Generations Health Care, is leading Greenbriar into the future. With a fresh perspective and respect for the foundation her parents built, she is continuing the mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care.
